Greetings Bikers!
The Fairfax County Park Authority is sponsoring a bike camp called Lose the Training Wheels (LTTW), a program where children with disabilities learn to ride a bicycle without training wheels. They will run this program for one week during spring break, April 6-10 and are asking for your help. We're posting the attached flyer and registration form here on FCPA's behalf. Each is for recruiting volunteers, the power behind the program.
This is a life changing event that was a great success last year when they held the camp for one week. 32 of the 40 participants successfully learned to ride a standard bicycle without training wheels. This is a great volunteer opportunity for groups, families as well as individuals. You can really make a difference in a child's life.
