I hope that I can get this before the night ride at Fountainhead. Forget about those fancy-schmancy lighting systems we usually use.

This is sheer genius... an integrated lighting/helmet system. And, the icing on the cake is that it even matches the color of my Rocky Mountain...
Plus, if an evil paleontologist unleashes his Dino Zords while we are out on the trail, at least I will be prepared.

Glad to see you figured out how to put a pic in your post :)
WHere did that thing come from?

Yep, you're right. It was worth the hassle learning to post pictures. I downloaded it and reposted it on the cavers forum on their active thread, "Headlight Survey."
I second Martin. Where'd you get that thing?
PS - Will we see you on the trail with it? Since it matches your bike?

Thanks to my son, the extortionist, we were walking around in Toys 'R Us on Friday. Saw them there. If we didn't have such a tight budget, I was going to actually buy it and bring it on the next night ride.
I think that you can get them online from Amazon.com/Toys 'R Us, and I actually found them at LillianVernon.com a little cheaper (this one was the Ninja Storm version).
Of course, it would really suck if my budget left me unprepared for that Dino Zord attack... Well, I guess it actually leaves me unprepared for everything else... :D

That's great! But it sure took me a while searching around for them. Not having kids, I didn't know what to search on --- try "ranger." On sale for $9.98, how can you go wrong?
FYI - I want one of those almost as much as the cycling helmet I saw with great big squirrel decals on it. It, too, was for kids. And try though I might, it just wouldn't fit. :(

That was one other reason I didn't do it. I kind of figured that it was designed to fit a kids head, and not my gigantic gourd. Of course, I could give it to my son to use, but he doesn't even play with half of the stuff he asks for!
BTW, the Dino Thunder version at Toys 'R Us was $13 or $15.
You know, every time I walk into the LBS, I notice that kids have the coolest helmets and we just get the boring, plain helmets.
