Asking $1500.
Macalu Aero Pro Titanium road bike, gray (natural Ti, and black). Listed as 60cm, but that measurement is up to the middle of the seat collar, a more conventional measurement, center of BB to top of TT is a little under 58cm. 58cm Top tube, 16.5cm head tube, 41cm chainstay. 6/4 titanium throughout, teardrop shaped down and top tubes. It's a great riding bike, only reason I'm getting rid of it is my back can't take riding that small a bike any more. Frame is a 2001 model year, I got it in early 2002 (most components are 2002, some newer). I know not so much road bike traffic here, but figured I'd try before resorting to eBay.
Bike does have some miles on it, never raced, crashed once. No dents, dings or anything on the frame (6/4 Ti is incredibly tough, you'd have a hard time denting this frame with a hammer - no I haven't tried). There is a chip in the clearcoat on one of the brake levers (from putting it in my car), no fraying carbon though. See the picture below.
-Reynolds Ouzo Pro carbon fork
-King headset, black
-Easton EC90 equipe pro bar, 44cm (best 26mm road bar on the market!)
-2002 Campagnolo Record brake shifters
-Record brakes
-Record derailleurs
-Chorus cassette 12/25 10-speed.
-FSA SLK ME compact crank, with dura/ace BB cups. 175mm arms, 34/50. I replaced the bearings with enduro about 800 miles ago. Also see below on extras
-Cane Creek Volos XL wheels (see below)
-Thomson laid back post
-San Marco SKN saddle; or pick from my spare saddle collection if you'd prefer something else
-Specialized stem - don't know the model, it's a weird design, adjustable angle using cants, I'm also including a better stem, see below. I just used this one trying to get the bike to fit me.
-Spec all condition pro tires. They have a few miles on them, but these tires last a long time (why I like them so much).
-2 Elite cages
-No pedals
Most of this was pretty much top of the line in it's day, as you can see.
I'm also including:
-a spare set of wheels, the ones that came with the bike: record hubs, Open pro front rim, velocity arrowhead oc rear. DT 14/15 spokes front, c-xray rear, both alloy nips, both 3x.
-Ritchey WCS stem.
-Record crank and BB, 2002 model year. Standard 39/53, 135mm bcd, 175mm arms, crank is aluminum and fits a Campy, ISO taper BB (also included). Frame takes Itallian thread BB. Campy cassette/Bottom bracket tool included.
-Manuals for pretty much every part.
$1500 obo.
Bike is in Columbia, I work in South Baltimore, if you want to look/test ride (remember to bring pedals though). I'd be happy to bring it to VA on a weekend, week-nights may be hard, but I'll see what I can do. Hopefully the attached pictures show everything, but if you'd like a more detailed picture of anything, let me know.
