View Full Version : Can I borrow your Thomson setback seatpost?

I think I ordered the wrong seatpost. I got a Thomson 27.2mm x 330mm for my new fixie. The seat is all the way back on rails and I am still a good bit forward of where I want to be on the pedals.

Before I screw up and order the wrong seatpost AGAIN, could I try out your Thomson 27.2mm setback? Any of their lengths should work.

Thanks!

That would be awesome. I just want to see if it gives a better fit. If so, I'll order one. I did put in a lowball bid on eBay also. We'll see.

If I lose my eBay auction tonight, ya think you might want to sell one off?

Keep in mind that the post can only go down a certain amount due to the crick in the post. If it doesn't go down far enough, you should be able to use one of 'em other brands with the setback at the head...

Had a guy swing buy with a setback 250mm length silver post and it worked pretty well. We did a straight up swap. Tomorrow's ride will decide.

Fingers crossed.
