we do have our Bike Lane bucks (http://thebikelane.com/page.cfm?PageID=495)sale going on right now that will get you $10 of Bike Lane dollars for every $50 you spend. ($1000 road bike purchase= $200 in Bike Lane bucks to use on shoes, helmet, clothes, etc)- pretty sweet deal.

on a more serious note, what was up with the one bike... can't remember what it was. original lots, marked down to 500? banged up?

The 2 that were $500 were older model demos. One was a 2006 Xcaliber and the other a 2006 Fuel ex9. Since they were older and more used they were cheaper. I removed them from the website since they have been sold.

The demos for sale are used, obviously. But they have been taken care of. Anyone who is interested in buying one is welcome to demo it before buying.
