Hi all. I've been elected to a new position this year with MORE. I'm going to head up the membership/secretary position. And I'm looking for some help from other members. We're looking to increase membership this year and I'll need help doing it.
I'm not looking for any specific time length commitment in most cases; more like a project to project basis. This allows people to commit to as much time as they feel they can and allows more (no pun intended) people to get involved. I'll be looking for help in areas like working occasional events talking to people about the club, some administrative tasks, contacting bike shops and other outreach efforts, and anything that comes up through out the year involving increasing MORE's membership numbers. I'll leave for another post about what higher membership numbers means to us in several very important ways.
