Venture Quest adventure Race Volunteers Needed
VentureQuest is hosted by the Hemlock Overlook Center for Outdoor Education (a cooperative effort of George Mason University and the Northern Virginia Regional Park Authority) and is billed as \"Northern Virginia\'s Premier Adventure Race\". The event will take place October 6, 2002 with the MTB portion of the event taking place on the Fountainhead MTB Trail. See this website for more info http://www.gmu.edu/departments/hemlock/ Stu Moulton is requesting that you consider volunteering to serve as a Course Marshal for this event on October 6, 2002. MORE has been asked to provide volunteers for the event. MORE volunteers will primarily serve as Course Marshals for the MTB portion of the event. Additionally, at least one Captain of the Marshals is needed. Course Marshals would be expected to be posted to various sections of the Fountainhead MTB Trail by 8AM in order to provide limited assistance and directions to event participants. The MTB portion of the event will likely be complete by noon. A group ride for the Course Marshals immediately following the event seems like a reasonable expectation.

If you\'d like to assist, please respond by e-mail to: StuMoulton@aol.com.
