You are invited...
...to the MORE Annual Meeting and Winter Party on February 7, 2009, where we celebrate our accomplishments of 2008 and share our plans for 2009. We have a great evening planned, complete with food, fun, and our year-end awards.
When: Saturday, February 7; 6:00 pm
Where: Great Falls Grange (http://www.fairfaxcounty.gov/PARKS/hprs/greatfalls.htm)
Great Falls Grange is located at 9818 Georgetown Pike,; it may be reached by taking Beltway Exit 44 west (Georgetown Pike, Route 193 west) for 6.2 miles to the park entrance on the right. Parking got a little tight last year, so please carpool!
What to Bring: Brian Junkins will be bringing his award-winning bar-b-que. Please bring a potluck dish to share, according to the first letter of your last name (this is just a suggestion to make sure we have enough; if you have a signature dish not on the list, please feel free to bring it):
A - H - Salads/Sides
I - P - Entree
Q - Z Desserts
Single Speed Outlaws/Clipper City Brewing and Dogfish Head Brewing are providing beer for the event. Guests should plan to bring additional beverages. MORE will provide paper products, utensils, and soft drinks. Questions about food/beverages? Email Anne (annec34@aol.com).
Raffle: Bring some cash, because we'll be raffling off: A one-on-one riding clinic with local Trek pro Chris Eatough, plus a Trek/VW jersey signed by Chris, Signed copies of Off-Road to Athens and 24Solo donated by Gripped Films' Jason Berry, and 2 Gary Fisher/Subaru long sleeve jerseys donated by local pro Chris Beck. Tickets will be 1 for $5 or 10 for $20.
Volunteers: We have enough volunteers for set-up, thanks!
