What's the deal here folks? No one interested in joining BottomBraket at Schaeffer tomorrow? The temps may be cold, but, it'll be warmer than today...or last night. :D

This is a great opportunity to ride the trails before they close down again, and I can assure you, they will.

Check the calendar (http://www.more-mtb.org/forum/calendar.php?do=getinfo&day=2009-1-17&e=1255&c=2) for all the details and RSVP on the bottom so he knows you're attending.

We can move the ride tomorrow later in the day to let it warm up some.

Say about 12:30 or 1:00 pm?

Anybody up for that?

If it's 11 deg F and all agree, we can just go do the woop-de-doos and call it a day.

It's 20 deg F at now (2:30 pm) in Bethesda.

If your going tomorrow call me to confirm the start time

three 0 one . six five two . seven six 4 nine.

It will be about 20 degrees at 1:00 which is a LOT better than 11 degrees.:D This lets my lazy ass sleep in so put me down as tentatively "yes". Should I call you tonight or tomorrow morning?

Depending on how cold it is, we may hit Wakefield. It's one thing to drive 20 minutes, start riding and decide it's too cold, vs. driving an hour and realizing we are freezing, and then driving another hour back...

We're still hitting it in the morning either way...

We had 4 riders at the start and finish. The trails are in great shape. Some of the stream crossing were frozen. As planned we did

White loop first, then
Yellow out and
Orange back and hit
The woop-de-doos.

In all, twas about 15 miles. Temps were 25-28 F.
Thanks all for coming out.
