Shaeffer Farms Drive Time

A quick question: how long does it take to drive to Shaeffer Farms from northern VA (I live in Woodbridge)? I've been wanting to try new trails and Shaeffer sounds good. I usually only bike Fountainhead and the woods around where I live. Another question, when is the trail least crowded? I'm not the smoothest biker and I don't want to be stumbling around getting in the way of people,

From Georgetown pike, it is approximately 30 minutes to Schaeffer Farms, depending on traffic.

Bob, I live in Dumfries and it takes me about an hour depending on traffic.

From Alexandria, it takes me about 40 minutes to get to Schaeffer, taking the GW parkway to 495 to 270.
