I think I need to make some room in the stable so I'd like to find a new home for my scalpel. It's a 2003 1000. It's been upgraded to an xtr rear der, xt hollowtech cranks, xt dual control levers / hydro brakes. Carbon seatpost & Bars.
Stock specs can be found at

Bike is in great shape overall. Has one small cosmetic ding in the top tube.

I think I'd like to check this out. I was planning on picking up a new bike once I got my tax refund back though I'm not sure I can pass this up.
Not sure if it'll fit me, I ride a 19 inch 29'er but think I'd ideally be on a 21 for a 26 inch wheel bike.

I live in New Market and work in Beltsville during the week. I could always put it on my car if you wanted to check it out at lunchtime or something..

Easier then I could have expected. I work downtown but live out in Greenbelt so I could probably meet you some day aftter work (I have a pretty flexible work schedule so I can squeeze out a bit early if need be).
Send me an email and we can set something up.

Mike, want a 32inch Toshiba flat screen? (tube tv, not a flat panel) You could help ME drop a few hundred on it instead!

I have an '07 Scalpel team that I ride. I have about the same measurements as you and its fits fine. Great riding bike, for xc or enduro stuff. One of the best made

And, it's red!! Someone buy this bike, and immediately become faster!! (I can't - it would make my other red bikes jealous, and I'm much too tall for this bike.)
