Yep, put them on the roof of my car and drove off. Hopefully, they fell off pretty quickly and are in close proximity to the lot on Gambrill Park Road. They were a pair of Novara winter gloves. I could actually deal with losing the gloves a bit better if I hadn't bought them six weeks ago. Arrrrgh!
