I have only done some limited night riding and that is within mostly lit areas. I am ready to step up my light kit from the cheap cateye I have to a set I can use offroad. What would be the best light for the money. I am not opposed to finding a used set to start out on, but I think 300 is about my max spending limit. Welcome to any and all help you have for me.

There have been a LOT of threads on this topic. Try a "search" on lights and you will find a LOT of information and opinions. For top dollar, for X dollars. Much here on MORE has been written.

thanks for the input, I will check it out. I can kill this thread to keep from having multiple threads everywhere if needed.
