Cheap Crankbrothers Candy/Eggbeater Pedals

So I've only got one pair of shoes and I'd like to have a clipless setup for my road beater bike. I'm still not sure about these Eggbeaters, so I'd prefer not to dump too much money into this system. Does anyone have a pair of these lying around they want to get rid of? Thanks, David.

For what it's worth they've been popping up on Chainlove for something like $50. I'm waiting on them to show up again so I can pick up a pair as well.

i have a pair of smartys... i don't remember what makes them different from the candy, they look basically the same... maybe less nice bearings? used em for a ride or two - 40 bucks?

i do. as far as i can remember, they're one of the earlier models. very lightly used, but i don't think i have the clips for them. $20? make an offer... they've been collecting dust for years.
