Got her in 1990 (1989 model) for $699. I rode her for 10 years and then moved on. She sat behind the furnace for 9 years collecting dust and holding up extra furnace filters. Rebuilt her (mainly with parts lying around), better, faster, and as a single speed. :) Post up your old favorites that you will never sell.

Sorry man, no pics of my old rides. Alas none of them survived and no digital camera's back then.

Makes sense, but if you look deep in the dark, deep recesses of your [enter: garage, basement, treehouse, ex girfriends back yard shed etc.] you might be surprised to find what you have lying around. ;)

Actually in parents attic is my first "real" mountain bike. A 1988 Mongoose with I think 20 or 24" wheels on it. hahaha. Next time I'm home I'll go hunting for it.

Throw a used 150mm fork on it and a 26" front wheel and create a cool All-trail "46er"! :D
