Got my Dinotte 400 and used it for the first time last night. Great light except for the fact that one of the bulbs went out after an hour. It was still bright enough to get me back to the car. I'm confident that they will take care of this but has anyone else had a problem like this? I'm asking cause I'm thinking about eventually getting the 800 to compliment it.
I'll be calling them in a couple of hours when they open.

No such problems with my 200 or 600. I'd ask if you can keep it until they ship you a replacement (unless they just want to swap the LED and not replace/trade) so you have most of a light in the mean time.

I tried that but they want me to ship the 400 and the battery back to them first. It sucks cause I won't have a light to use for a week or so.

Bummer. Maybe you could use the possible purchase of an 800 as leverage.
This is how my exchange went:
"We’ll exchange these for new batteries with the hardshell case. While you’re at it, send in the chargers just to make sure they’re compatible.
Thanks
Rob"
"Rob,
If I give you my Visa card number, can you ship the 3 batteries and the 2 chargers with a hold on the Visa which you can release after I return the old ones? I'm just getting into the new night-riding season.
Thanks,
Greg"
"May I have your address so we can send the stuff out?
We’ll send the batteries. Can you take a closeup of the charger?
Thanks
Rob"

I never had those problems either with the 400 600 or 800

I have a 600L and have not had any problems other than snapping the part that keeps it from sliding off the bar mount. For the moment, I just use a rubber band, but I am thinking of a drop of crazy glue, because I always use the light on the bar due to it's nice wide dispersion.
I have the 300L tail light. It's pretty new, but no issues with it. Amazingly bright.
They have a deal on the site right now where you buy the 800L and basically get a free 400 with it. The price is right, that's for sure.
I really, really like the design of the 400L. How is the beam? Is it more of a spot or a wide dispersion? Right now I am using the L&M Stella 200L on the helmet which provides a wonderful spot beam. I am curious about how it compares with the 400L.

The 400 is/was as bright as the HID's I was riding w/. I rode off road w/ just the 400 on the helmet and did just fine. The Trinewt has a wider beam in my opinion....but that is also rated at almost 500 lumen. I'm most impressed w/ the weight being half of the Trinewt.

I got my replacement light and battery today (after sending in the defective one first). Now I noticed that the charger is blinking green after 30 minutes of pluggin it in. Anyone else have this going on? I talked to Dinotte and they said it shouldn't do that but they have seen in a very few cases.

Mine is green when I plug it in, turns amber when I connect a battery for charging, and turns green again when the charge is complete. It never blinks though. 30 minutes does sound about right for the time it took for my 2-cell battery to charge the first time.

The Dinotte guys did say it should not blink and that they have seen it a couple of times. Hopefully it will work good tonight. I have a feeling I will be sending something back in. If the light wasn't so light weight and bright......I'd go back to the Trinewt.

I've never had any blinking lights with my system.
I wouldn't blame you for switching back, as much trouble as you're having with Dinotte. I hope they make everything right for you... Good luck.
