Brand New - 2005 version - long-cage - $100

Shimano XTR® M960 Rear Derailleur
Rapid Rise®

• Titanium upper pivot bolt
• Massive outer link for longer life and more precise shifts
• Flourine-coated parallelogram pivot bushings
• Adjustable pulley cage tensioning
• Snap-ring retainers on pulley bolts
• Ribbed extra-strong 11-tooth pulleys with sealed bearings
• No cable adjuster
• Removeable Horst-link®-friendly rubber bumper guard
• Rapid Rise® "low-normal" style - easier motion downshifts

Overlooked amidst all the press other XTR® components always receive, the Rapid Rise® rear derailleur silently (and we mean silently - this is the quietest derailleur made) outperforms all expectations. This is an almost effortless rear derailleur to shift, and durability has been drastically improved over previous models (which were, themselves, no slouches in the durability department). Nice details like the removeable rubber bumper guard and ribbed durable pulleys prove Shimano® is listened to you, and using rider feedback to keep producing this incredible XTR® stuff. Just plain excellent.

Thanks for looking! :D

Is it still for sale? I might be interested in one of these.

I'm a bit surprised no one has bought it yet -

This is the lowest price I can find anywhere for a brand new - in box - 2005 version XTR rear derailleur.

Thanks :)

The cheapest is $120.

Still you are pretty close to the "new" price. It seems to me that not a lot of people around here have switched to rapid rise.

If there are no nibbles on this site, wich I doubt there will be, try it on ebay, or a bigger site, such as ridemonkey.com or pinkbike.com, they have much larger memberbases and will get more exposure.

Also, like markie mentioned, not too many people around here have rapidrise, and it's kinda a big switch, everything becomes backwards

Good luck--Graham

But it's MORE like $100 if you ad shipping.
