No chance at all. It's been raining off and on all day and it's pouring at the moment.

Is it closed for the winter? Is it hunting season?

Is it dry enough for a Sat morning ride?

When does the gate close for the winter?

It generally closes some time around (before or after) New Years and stays closed until mid-March(ish.)

Actually....there is a sign. Close Nov 29?th (late November) and anytime the park service deems it necessary.

They do need to hunt there though. A clump of 8ish or more deer were wandering through as we rode. Constantly staying in front of us.
