It looks like it will stop rainning about 5pm Saturday, with the good drainage of the shed we should be in good shape.
I will meet you in the hamburg lot at 9:20AM

I'm into this... im not the fastest thing on 2 wheels tho... (or even a fast thing on 2 wheels) and it takes me a bit to get my lungs when rides start with long climbs right from the get-go... but i guess someone needs to sweep eh?

If this ride goes like it did last time, then it starts flat then goes downhill. THEN you get a climb.

I am off on another ride or I would have been there. Denis leads a good ride. Y'all who don't get to the Shed much or ever should REALLY do this one. Bring a camera.

Here is the elevation from last time.

Good news: this one starts with a downhill.

[Admittedly, that won't last...]

omg, 6 hours?

BTW, you should change the title of your album at chazellefamily to "Tour de Shed North". Relative to Hamburg rd, you were riding the north side today.

About 5.5 if you count from the moment we left to the moment we came back.

You know, north, south, it's so confusing to me. I should have converted them to metric first! :p

Denis gives good ride :) Huge kudos to Denis! Perfect riding weather, great crew, great ride... sorry I was whining about that final climb :) Seriously, the riding there is "supersweet" and I can personally attest that "little canaan" and most of the other trails there are almost identical to canaan! (without the mud bogs..which is a good thing!)

Yep that was the best Water Shed ride I've done!!!! Great group of guys to ride with and I loved the flow of the direction we went today...most of those trails I ride on but we always go the opposite direction....love the way we went though....I have pictures currently loading on my flickr site....on flickr.com I am cableguy46, so far 46% is loaded...thanks for some cool shots Denis...next Sunday is the MTB Jamboree at Fair Hill so I'll miss any Gambrill rides, but hey come up to Fair hill it's a blast!!!!

Thanks so much to the guys who took pictures; it was a beautiful day!

Thanks to Denis for putting together the ride!

Sunny skies, turning leaves, dry trails, no major mechanicals or injuries (in the Shed!). What a day!

3312: No. But I do plan to do at least another one in November. Probably not next week, though. Keep an eye on this forum or the calendar, I'll put it in there.

Yeah, only 2 flats and a broken chain. And I learned that using Stan's even with tubeless tires is a good thing! sealed a 1/4" puncture on its own and i didnt have to futz with putting a tube in it. great stuff!

Hey, thanks to everybody who came. It was a perfect day, with leaves at their peak and splendid weather (Pics if you haven't seen them yet (http://chazellefamily.com/gallery2/main.php?g2_itemId=4030).)

A total of 13 people were there. In the last 2 weeks, that's a total of 19 different people that have been to either the north or the south ride, or both. Many of them were there for the first time and it was a blast to get you to discover those terrific Shed trails.

Possibilities for next weekend: Tour de Patapsco, another Shed ride, Elizabeth Furnace, a MoCo Epic? Let me know what would interest you.

PS: Cableguy, can you give the link to your flicker site. Thanks.
