I'm kinda looking for a descent used SS Disc wheelset. If any of you have a set you're looking to unload drop me a line. I'm currently doing the spacer / cog setup thing and I'd really like to try the freewheel route on the cheap to see which I'd prefer when building up my good set later on.

I know nothing will ever be better than having the experience, but I much prefer a cog over a freewheel. I can change a cog on the trail without breaking out all sorts of tools, not that I've ever changed my gearing...so it's sort of a moot point.
While it's not for sale, your more than welcome to borrow an extra Surly 1x1 rear wheel that I have that uses a freewheel - it's not an eno freewheel, but winter is almost over, ha. It's also not a wheelset, but then there isn't a difference in the front wheel anyway. But it's not disc...sorry.

Your wheel is not a wheelset
Your wheel is not for sale
Your wheel is not disc
Jason, I know you are looking for a disc wheelset, but I have a hat you can borrow instead!
:p
JUST KIDDING! I'm with DT. I like cassette style hubs as well, because truly reliable freewheels (i.e. ENO) are expensive if you are going to play around with different ratios. Also, no matter how much grease/anti-sieze/teflon tape you put on the freewheel/hub interface, you'll need a four foot breaker bar or 24" pythons to take it off if it's been on there long enough.
