It is a "North Woods" 21 speed tandem bicycle. I purchased it out of the Sharper Image magazine for myself and my wife to ride in '97 or '98 (Wife doesn't ride. This was the only way I could get her to ride with me without plunking down too much money) We used it a bit, but now it's just taking up space in the garage. The bike does need work. In particular:
1. Headset is loose/worn.
2. Derallieurs need adjustment
3. Brakes need a serious upgrade. Bike came with cantilever brakes. There's simply not enough stopping power when going downhill to bring it to a stop in a reasonable distance (I've learned that one the hard way  ). It should accomodate an upgrade to a linear-pull set without too much fuss.
The bike tips the scale at a whopping 63 pounds (or 2 1/2 Kleins as the case may be). The rumors that the frame is made from the same material they are using for the Wilson Bridge project are completely false.
Derallieurs are Shimano SIS with thumb shifters (remember them?). The rest of the componentry is "mystery meat". Front wheel does have quick-release, rear wheel does not.
Asking $65 or best offer. Any questions or interested parties may contact me at OnyxSax@aol.com
