Hunting Starts 9/15

Just a reminder bow hunting at Loch Raven starts this Monday (9/15). It looks like most of the hunting area is North of Merrymans Mill, but it does include some areas South of there. If you ride Merrymans loop around the North side you do go through some of the hunting "territory" so wear orange and ride with a bell or something; you don't want to be mistaken for a deer with wheels. :eek:

Yeah be careful out there. A few of us went out Monday and the trails were dry.

Strange - the NCR (rail trail) runs through that northern section & rules state that bow hunting is allowed from the trail. I guess hunting qualifies as multi-use.
