Ok I'm looking to put together a set of beater DH wheels to throw on my 575 so it can be used by one of my brothers friends at Snowshoe (don't want my nice DT Swiss wheels to get trashed).

I've already got a rear wheel, and I have a rim for the front (Mavic EX729). What I need is a disc hub I can build up around this rim. I was looking at something along the lines of a Deore hub. The fork is QR, so just a standard MTB hub will work. Just something cheap. I guess I could take a complete wheel also and scavange the hub. A wheel with a rim with a 539ERD would be perfect so I could re-use the spokes.

I also would like to put a larger rotor on the front when it's used at Snowshoe, so if anybody has a 6" to 8" post mount adapter that would be great.

Thanks,

Delmar
