99.9% of the trail was awesome. A few spots bordering tacky, and the what I assume are usual bad spots.

Right on top of the rise after the 1st bridge are 3 blowdowns, 1 of which is suspended off the ground.

And thanks to whomever fixed the 2nd (or was it 3rd?) bridge.

This was only my 2nd time riding FH, I'm think I'm starting to like it.:D

Ya, about that downed tree after that bridge and steep up on the first loop. I come barelling through there and shit my pants a little. I'm still not sure how it happened but it happened really fast. Hitting the brakes, then running down the hill without my bike. Wish I had that one on camera. I love time pedals.

That thing either needs a warning or cut IMHO.

And what do you mean by "starting" to like it? That trail is pure awsomeness. The only place i prefer riding here is Quantico, and that's only by a tiny bit. It does make me want a FS bike on occasion though.

I agree though, trail was in great condition today. I went in the evening after checking weather.com all afternoon.

I mean, FH was my 2nd mtb ride EVER (Sept 2006), I quit before I ever finished the entrance loop, got lost trying to get out, etc...I had a mental block about that place for over a year.

But after riding multiple laps of the Quantico race course last June (12 hours of CM), I had an epiphany that if I can ride there, I can ride FH. So I did.

3rd FH ride was today after work. I now officially love that system. I'm down to 1:15 gate to gate. I need to work on my lines on some of the gnarly uphills.

And those logs after the bridge have been cut and moved out of the way (THANKS!)
