Wakeboarding

Any wakeboarders, wakeskaters, waterskiers out there? Wondering about good local spots to get glass... Heard Pohick Bay but wondering about how deep the water is, how bad are the jellies and how crowded. What about Occoquan? How long is the transit to get to skiable water?

i would not call myself a waterskier or wakeboarder, but the few times i have been out, we typically head a few miles south of alexandria... the river seems to really open up. i don't know what the area is called, but you're likely to see quite a few others out there.

if you're leaving from occoquan, you'll find quite a lot of space when you get out to the river... pick your own spot... i do remember a notable area a few miles south, though.
