Note that I rode prior to the sprinkle shower around 4:30, so don't flame me this time, lol...

Trails were in good shape, thanks to all of those who helped with the work day. Couple mud ruts but nothing horrible. I forget the bridge number but one of them is broken... it's all taped off and all that though. Is that going to be replaced/repaired or is the little side route staying that way? I'd gladly help on the next work day... I was out of town for the last one.

I'm pumped... I conquered shock-a-billy hill on my first ride with my new bike (IH MKIII comp). The first time I went to FH about a month and a half ago on my hardtail I ate shit on the top of the hill... so took some balls to try again so soon especially with a new bike that I'm still adjusting too, haha. I'm loving the new bike though! :D

Nice Bill, glad you got yours back from FH. I just finished a loop around there today with a few people and got my ass kicked again. I didn't take any pain meds so I was hurting the whole way through. It was great. :D Riding with pain is quite the experience because then you're not afraid of the pain of falling, so you go faster and faster around those corners and switch-backs.

Trail conditions were very nice, dry, and a bit dusty in some places, but for what it's worth, the muddied spots were OK and avoidable. The downed wooded bridge is still there, but only a slight annoyance as you can cross the stream (carefully).
