I am thinking about mowing the yellow loop at Schaeffer this Sunday with the parks self propelled brush mower. I bet it is getting overgrown. If there is time, might try the red loop also, but yellow is the focus. Need one or two helpers, it is not safe to do this kind of work solo. Any takers?

I have one volunteer, Jersh, new to the area, lined up. We are meeting at 9:30 am by cell phone near the trailhead. If you are still interested, call me, I'll bring an extra set of loppers, but dont feel pressured as a team of two people is workable

I wish I could, but I am going to be out of town.
You are correct, the Yellow loop is getting very overgrown. Also the orange loop that is in the middle of the yellow loop could use some work if you get bored.
Oh, when is the next big work day? There seems to be a lot of standing water this year.

There is a boy scout who is going to start in a week or so to fix the puddles. I have hardly ridden out there in the last 2-3 months for some reason, so appreciate the conditions feedback.
