I purchased a 1" King threadless headset last spring for a bike that I am now replacing. Unfortunately, the new bike needs 1 1/8". So now I have a practically brand new headset of the wrong size... anybody in a similar situation and want to trade? Mine was purchased new and has been used for about 500 commuting miles over the spring/summer. It is green in color. I won't be picky about color for the 1 1/8" headset, but would prefer one of similar condition if possible. Please e-mail me at cloughja@msn.com if you can help me out. Thanks.

one suggestion would be, keep the frame that has the 1" headtube, and get a 1" fork to fit it. Marzocchi has a 2005 fork that comes with a 1" steerer tube, so that may be an option. But I take it from the huge "inventory reduction" sale you're haveing that frame is on the way out ;)

Just a thought--Graham

I can't right now, but if you still need a swap at the end of the month, I'll have one then.

Drop me an e-mail (PedroGringo@yahoo.com) if you're interested.

Graham - That headset goes with a road frame, so the 1" fork isn't the issue. And yeah, I'm trying to sell that frame now anyway.

Peter - I have that headset listed with its frame and fork right now in my "garage sale", but if it doesn't sell I will definitely contact you. Thanks.
