Patapsco Women's Ride on 6/14, 10:00 a.m.

The ride will begin at Landing Road parking lot (from Ilchester Road, 1st parking area on your left, just across from new housing development)

Ride Leader: Becky
Location: Patapsco State Park
Ride Level: Casual with intermediate to advanced skills women's ride
Description: Everything from fast swoopy trails to long climbs/downhills to rock gardens. Come expore some of the best trails in Maryland.

Directions to Rockburn Branch/Landing Road side: Route 1 to Montgomery Road (left if heading north, right if heading south). Right on Landing Road at the church, Rockburn Branch Park (Howard County) is on your left. Park at the top of the hill. Trailheads are on Landing Road in either direction: left to the top of Cascade trail, right to an "unmaintained" entrance.

There's that 6 hour race on that ride of the park at 11. Just wanted to give you a heads up incase you forgot. Maybe riding the other side would make for a better ride. I do know the park is open to all, even during the race.

The race is this weekend, 6/7 and the rain date is 6/15. The RLAG ride is 6/14. http://sixhourspatapsco.com/

Spoke to Bek. I'll lead a guy's ride at the same time, so y'all can drop off your boyz with me. Pace will vary depending on participants, but I'm shooting for moderate.

I actually tried to make it.. ask Ricky, I have no issues killing myself on a ride, but I showed up 10 min late.. and forgot my helmet.. figured that was an omen and decided to not ride heh..

It was advertised as moderate which is generally pretty quick and involves few stops. I would hold out for something advertised a bit slower if you have concerns.

Just an FYI...and no BSing...I was the slowest one on the ride. :o
