Just in time for the soaked trails, my buddy and team mate Butch is leading this ride Thursday in DC. So, get out and ride, don't let the rain get you down!
Come on out for the DC urban adventure ride. The ride takes you through the heart of downtown DC without encountering a single taxicab or Metro bus. How is this possible? We'll be riding the bikes paths of the Rockcreek Park. After the ride, we'll be hitting Pizzaria Paradisso for some pizza and the largest selection of beer in DC.
DC Urban Night Ride through Rockcreek Park

Location: Start of the Capital Crescent Trail in Georgetown, Washington DC
Date: Thursday, June 5 at 6 pm
Ride Level: Easy
Description: Some road, some bike path, through Rockcreek Park in downtown DC. Stop for beers at Birreria Paradiso in Georgetown after the ride. Bring whatever bike you feel comfortable riding. A road bike will work best. Bring a front and rear blinkey light. Pace will be moderate with few stops. Total ride is about 25 miles. Expect about 2 hours or less. You can park under the Key Bridge on Water Street (under the Whitehurst Freeway overpass). Hope to see you there.
