Today was the day that Billy Joe McAllister jumped off the Tallehatchee bridge - heard that on the radio today. "It was the third of June, another sleepy, dusty, delta day." Not too sleepy or dusty, though. I hadn't heard that song in a long time.

And yesterday we lost the Originator, Bo Diddley. And the day before, we lost Al Kelley. Both of whom were extraordinary artists and innovators. :(

My love and appreciation at least, will Not Fade Away. mmm-bop mmm-bop, bop bop!
