looking for team members for VentureQuest

Are you interested in joining a co-ed team for VentureQuest on Sunday, October 6th? The race includes 3 miles of canoeing, 14 miles of trail running, 12 miles of mountain biking, and mentally and physically intense team challenges. Teams of three start together, compete together, and finish together. Last year it took my team 7:24:26 to finish the race. As you can see, crossing the finish line and enjoying a fun day was the goal for us last year and for me this year! Great race for beginner/intermediate mountain bikers and beginners to adventure racing. My team members are injured and can no longer participate this year. MORE has a history of participation with VentureQuest.

The MTB portion of VQ is held at Fountainhead.

The event coordinator for VQ has asked for MORE volunteers to participate as Course Marshalls.

So...if you can't commit to participate as a competitor, there are opportunities to participate as a volunteer.

Besides that warm feeling you get from knowing you've done somethng to make the universe a better place for all living beings, you'll get a free T-shirt.
