Hey I was wondering how FH looked if anyone did a morning ride. I'm planning on hitting it around the afternoon time. Is the park open for bikers?
Thanks,
Phil

The park line says the MTB trails are open (7 250.2473 then press 1).

I was at Fountainhead Sunday morning/early afternoon. The trails were in good shape then - mostly dry with a a few very short mud patches and one puddle. Light showers picked up on my second lap, but not much was making it to the ground. I don't think it rained heavily later on Sunday, so today should be much like yesterday. There is one fresh set of downed trees near the end of the loop. I saw evidence of the wooly adelgid parasite on the helmock that was part of this knot.

Put 2 laps in about 1 1/2 ago. Trails were dry for the most part. The newley armored section had a few wet spots. There was a downed tree on the last big climb before shock-a-billy. Also the log ride by the teeter tooters is washed out a few of the sections are across the creek and there is one that is a little ways down the trail from where it stood before. The teeters are intact however. And wood pecker hill has a nice slick surface to it cleaned it the 2nd time around.
