Yesterday on the MORE night ride, I noticed signs posted around Wakefield designating that certain trails are going to be closed on September 10th from 3-5 pm for a high school cross country race. Included in the designated closure is the beginning of the connector trail between Wakefield and Accotink.
Can we make an effort to not ride around there at this time? The park grants mountain bikers permission to close trails for a few mountain bike races through out the year, so lets grant them this. And if you know someone who frequently rides there who is not part of the MORE listserv or comes here, please let them know.
