I was diagnosed with Crohn's disease 15 years ago, it is a very painful gastrointestinal disease. If you have this disease or Ulcerative colitis, or know someone that does, I'm sure you can understand how hard it can be to live an active lifestyle.
In addition to the debilitating effects of the Crohn's itself, I developed osteoporosis from long term use of prednisone. But I refuse to let the disease control my life, and have adopted the catch phrase, "Fragile, not afraid."
This year I'm battling back and doing a charity ride from New York City to Saratoga Springs. I would greatly appreciate any MORE members donating to this cause so I can do this ride. For more information please visit http://www.ibdride.org/arwyatt
