When: May 10th 9:30am to 1:00pm, Rain or Shine (with in reason)

This will be part of a 12 mile natural surface trail loop that when finished will include Lake Needwood, Lake Frank, the Agricultural Historical Farm and will run as far North as 108. As with the majority of trails in the County, this trail will be build manly by volunteers. The more people we have the faster the trail is built. This is a MORE sponsored work day. Hours worked go towards the MORE annual trail works awards.

Volunteers under 18 should be accompanied by an adult and the minimum age for volunteers is 14.This projects is a great opportunities for MCPS Student Service Learning hours.

Where: After meeting with Parks staff the majority of work we will be doing is located closer to Hollingsworh Dr so we will be meeting & parking at the cul de sac at the end of Hollingsworh Dr at 9:30am. This is a neighborhood so please be polite and do not block any driveways or mail boxes. No reason to develop negative vibes with the neighbors of the trail. If we need we can park at the Agricultural History Farm Park and shuttle over.
