We need a small generator to drill some holes out in the woods. The smaller the better. We would need it only one day two at the most.
Only running a 110v drill.
Please call me if available.

Why not just use a high quality cordless drill and a few extra batteries? I have a Ryobi kit and a bunch of batteries that work great. I'd happily lend it to you if we could figure out a way for me to get it to you.

I was told that using a cordless drill to put multiple holes in Locust wood is kind of like using your forehead to beat down a brick wall.
Well, it was something like that.
But I may take you up on that anyways. Are you going to be around Wakefield tomorrow before 3:00?
Thanks for the offer.
Ummm never mind I just looked up where New Market is.....:0

For about $35 you can go to Wally Mart and buy a jump starter for your car that has quite a bit of power. It's moderately compact and lightweight. The only trouble is that they take forever to recharge. For about $100 you can get one that will fill your tires, too by compressor, and recharges quite quickly. It's much bigger and heavier, though.

Even high quality drills won't work in extremely hard woods, well they will, but you would burn out the motor and /or clutch assembly, it will be fine for small holes, but I am guessing you are trying to drill large holes for pegs to attach logs to each other?
I would recommend a gas powered drill, but I am not sure where you can rent them.
