Not sure if this is the best place to put this but here goes.
(Moderator feel free to place this in a more appropriatte location at your discretion)
As the club Secretary I just wanted to let the
membership know that in order to lead any MORE club
ride you MUST be a member. This is to protect the
club and Board of Directors against a lawsuit in the
event something unfortunate might happen on a club
ride.
Note that to participate in a MORE event or ride a
membership is not required. Of course we hope that
you do join....
Sometime in the near future a mailing will occur to
expired members. They will receive a card stating
that their membership has expired and ask them to
renew. We hope that you will take the time to renew
if you are one of these folks. The easiest way to do
so is to go to the MORE webpage:

and download a form, mail a check, or use Paypal to
pay instantly with a credit card or bank transfer.
The member database is in the final stages of overhaul
to facilitate the mailing of the much anticapated new
member packets when a member joins. So that is in the
works.
A major change in membership policy is that
memberships are now year to date rather than all
memberships expiring on Dec 31st.
