Thanks to a generous grant from REI and continued support from our partners at Montomery County Parks, the natural surface trail system at Fairland Regional Park is getting a major upgrade! This underutilized trail system is slated to become a destination for all levels of trail enthusiasts, perfectly suited for families and novices while still offering challenging and fun terrain for advanced users. Planned work includes: the Burtonsville Connector, a super-fun new skills area, improved trail surface and armored stream crossings, new signage and mapping and opportunities for community investment in this awesome local trail!

Rumor has it, home made chili will be ready when we're done! Yes, we will have food, and volunteer appreciation gifts, and post work camaraderie and such...
